Bone Regeneration of a 3 Wall Bone Defect in Aesthetic Zone

The patient was 35 years old and came to the clinic for emergency treatment of tooth #21 (9). The tooth was fractured, mobile and infected. After examination we decided to extract the tooth and graft the bone defect with Bond Apatite® for the future implant.

“Yes, you are correct. When we have an implant with good stability that fits into a “box ” of bone, it is better to place the implant the same day as the extraction. Bond Apatite will successfully cover the gap or dehiscence. Specifically in this case we didn’t have the necessary 4 mm of bone needed to stabilize the implant.” – Dr. David Baranes
