A 31-year-old female patient came to the clinic for an orthodontic consultation. During the examination, we discovered a fractured root fragment with a radiolucent lesion around the mesial root of tooth #37 (18) on the lower left side, located near the Inferior Alveolar nerve. The treatment plan included surgical exposure, extraction of the root fragment, and curettage. In the same session, placement of implants and Bond Apatite®.
