In this case there was a vertical fracture and a fistula. Extraction and immediate implant with 3D Bond.
This was intended to be a single stage approach, and the temporary was out of occlusion. The patient is an avid gum chewer and cracked the temp, so they were basically functioning on Pontic that was over the healing abutment.
At the 8 week follow up the implant was mobile without infection. The healing abutment was changed to a subgingival one. At the 16 week follow up the implant resisted reverse torque of 50n-cm. Isq was at 65. At 20 and 24 week follow ups isq remained the same and the doctor proceeded to load it.
