A healthy 62-year-old woman presented for a consultation, concerned about the appearance of her smile and difficulty chewing. She no longer wanted to wear her maxillary removable prosthesis. Another clinic had told her that she lacked sufficient bone for implant rehabilitation.
First, bone reconstruction surgery is needed to return the extreme lack of maxillary bone volume. A new removable prosthesis will be made. 6 months later, 6 implants will be placed with immediate load. After another 6 months, the final hybrid prothesis will be made.
