A healthy 65-year-old woman presented for prosthetic rehabilitation of distal edentulism in the second quadrant and requested a fixed restoration.
Clinical examination revealed edentulism at teeth #24 (12), #25 (13), #26 (14), and #27 (15). The patient exhibited a 5–6 cm band of keratinized mucosa above the fornix.
Preoperative CBCT imaging demonstrated sufficient bone volume for placement of two implants in sites #24 (12) and #25 (13), with a progressive increase in the sinus cavity in the distal region.
The treatment plan included a crestal sinus lift using the Augma Lift™ technique, followed by implant placement in site #27 (15).
The surgical treatment proceeded successfully in two stages. First, the clinician placed implants in the premolar sites and performed the sinus lift. After six months, an implant was placed in site #27 (15).
Finally, a fixed bridge restored all edentulous areas, achieving an excellent postoperative outcome and high patient satisfaction.
