Treatment of Failed Bridge using Augma and Crestal Sinus Approach – 2 Year Follow Up

A healthy 80-year-old woman was referred with a failing bridge in the #22 (10) – #25 (13) region. The pre-operative CBCT showed hopeless teeth and a need for a sinus lift to place an implant in site #25 (13).

The clinician extracts the teeth and places immediate implants in sites #22 (10) and #23 (11). After performing a crestal sinus lift with Augma Bond Apatite®, the clinician placed a stable implant in site #25 (13).

Bond Apatite® also filled the wide socket at site #25 (13) to enhance implant stability.

Two-year follow-up images show healthy soft tissue and implants integrated in regenerated bone.
