Complete Flapless Maxillary Rehabilitation

The patient is a 62-year-old man, with type I diabetes. He presents with complaints of difficulty in chewing and a lack of aesthetic and mobility in the remaining maxillary teeth. The oral exam shows a lack of teeth #14 (5) – #11 (8) and #22 (10). The patient had already 3 individual implants placed #16 (3),#21 (9) and #25 (13). Most of the remaining natural teeth were in bad condition with mobility due to the marked periodontal bone loss. The complementary exams confirmed the visual examination, and the virtual planning confirms the possible use of the old implants combined in new rehabilitation. The patient wants a fixed rehabilitation.

Treatment includes the extraction of all the remaining teeth, careful cleaning of all the sockets. Without opening a flap, placement of 3 implants to achieve an All-on-6, socket grafting and immediate load. Placement of the final Nobel Procera hybrid prothesis after 6 months.
