The patient had no maxillary teeth and very few teeth left in the mandible. The patient also had a large periodontal lesion on tooth #48 (32). The patient had a very difficult time chewing, and she wanted to laugh freely for the first time in many years and increase her self-esteem. She also wanted to throw away the uncomfortable and unsightly old acrylic prostheses.
