The patient is an 82-year-old woman, who presented with a general complaint about the overall condition of her mouth. The oral exam shows a bad oral situation with several missing teeth. The mandible had few remaining roots and some old restorations. The remaining teeth were worn, with top-to-top occlusion and decreased vertical dimension. The complementary exams confirmed that there was enough bone for a total mouth fixed rehabilitation, like the patient wanted.
The treatment plan includes, extraction of all remaining maxillary and mandibular teeth and roots, placement of an immediate maxillary All-on-4 with immediate load and placement of 2 immediate mandibular implants with 2 locator abutments for use in a future All-on-4.
